Influenced by various genres of electronic music spanning the past 45 years, The Find has a rich history of sounds to draw from and be inspired by. Early influences include Giorgio Moroder, Gary Numan, Human League, OMD, Blancmange, New Order, Duran Duran, Japan, Vince Clarke, Bill Nelson, Visage, Vangelis, Art of Noise, Petshop Boys.

The Find started writing songs when he was 11 and began making demo cassette tapes from the age of 18. At 21 he supported Public Enemy at their first European gig in Dublin and at 25 signed to East West records. Over the years he’s been in various bands but ultimately found his niche as a producer and songwriter.

For their debut release The Find has hooked up with Felix New, an up and coming singer and prolific songwriter from Oxford.

With a shared interest in exploring themes of happiness, individuality and otherworldly aspects of the human condition, «Anyone you want» came out of various sessions over the past 2 years between the pair-

It’s the first of a number of tracks they’ll be releasing over the course of the year.
