Dancing in the Smoke is a snapshot of the world seen by KEiiNO writing in the Scottish countryside a rainy summer day. As with the previous singles «Praying» and «Spirit in the Sky», KEiiNO addresses serious themes in its uplifting pop music. The song is co-written by Ash Hicklin (Tiesto, Klingande) and Jonas Koerper, produced by Ruediger Schramm, mixed by Christer Cederberg (Julie Bergan, Maria Mena) mastered by Chris Gehringer (Rhianna, Lady Gaga, Jason Mraz, Cardi B) On violin, KEiiNO has brought in Ingrid Berg Medhus.
