SONiA disappear fear (Sonia Rutstein) released her career spanning retrospective album «Love Out Loud» in June 2020.

Now she’s back with an intimate solo recording, the Composer’s Cut of her first musical «Small House No Secrets».

Liz is already unraveling when she and her boyfriend Harry arrive at her cousin Eric’s for Thanksgiving dinner. Expecting a marriage proposal, Liz enlists Eric’s help in deflecting the question, but bigger questions arise when a stranger stopping by turns out to be the lesbian ex-lover Liz wasn’t ready for in her freshman year of college.

Co-written by SONiA and Jody Nusholtz, the musical debuted at the Kennedy Center’s Page-to-Stage Festival (previously debuted Hamilton ) in 2018. A hometown premiere at the Baltimore Playwrights Festival followed in March 2019, and the musical is now in pre-production in Germany, Australia and Hawaii.

«Small House No Secrets» is now accessible to listeners worldwide via this Composer’s Cut version, on which SONiA herself sings all the different parts, with background vocals by Laura Cerulli and accompanied on piano by Tony Correlli.

SONiA has performed in over 20 countries, most recently in Australia from December 2019 to February 2020. She is hoping to return to Europe for concerts in spring 2021.
