Developed and produced by Bryan Todd (Kelly Clarkson, Miley Cyrus), 5West’s new single «Last Time» is a R&B tinged pop sensation.

Since I love boybands (yes it’s my guilty pleasure), So I didn’t hesitate to ask them some questions  when I was so lucky to get a few words with the 5West lads. It was of course nicely camouflaged. as you (our readers) should learn more about these talented boys.

Owen, what have your guys been doing during quarantine ? Songwriting, rehearsing, and working out a lot. I can’t be still for very long, he respond while I’m trying to hide the fact I’m blushing.

When you got these boys attention for a few minutes, I need to move on to the next question fast and I smiled and I got Jon Paul’s attention, you guys have released a few singles now, are there any plans for an album ? Eventually that is the plan but music today is much more about singles.

It’s time to address all the lads, can you pick a song from all the songs in the world which describes each member best ?

Jon Paul – Elvis: Hound dog because he looks like Elvis
Owen – Panic! At the Disco: High Hopes because there are lots of adlibs and he loves adlibs
Caleb – literally any lo-fi song because he is so chill lol
Peet – I Want Candy by Bow Wow Wow

I move along to Caleb and asks what is the inspiration for the 5West sound ? Probably One Direction and some of the other great boybands, he said.

I’m back at charming Owen again, any plans to come to Europe to perform ? Yeah, as soon as things start opening up again Europe will probable be our first destination.

Peet, can you tell me how did 5West come about ? We were put together back in Feb 2019 and have been recording and touring ever since.

Caleb, can you tell me plans for Christmas ? Eat a lot of food! And listen to a lot of Christmas music

What is the Christmas song you need to hear to get into the Christmas spirit ? Baby its cold outside, because it’s such a creepy but funny song, so it always me in a good mood, Peet says.

Jon Paul, what are the plans for 2021 for 5West ?  Recording more and definitely touring as soon as we can!

Peet, how would you describe 5West for someone never heard about you guys ? A little bit pop, a little bit Kpop, and a little bit Peet, John Paul, Caleb and Owen!
