Birthed in its entirety in a home studio out of Brooklyn, NY. There is a raw and honest energy to it. Ranging from heartbreak anthems, to dance bangers it is a cathartic and satisfying listen from start to finish.
The EP was Co-Produced by Ryan Schumer who is a staple Bentley collaborator, known for bringing out that dark and sexy grit he is known for.
The lead single/title track off the EP, «Don’t Feel Like Talking» (Produced by Joao Victor Alberton) is the renaissance of a heartbroken lover, on a downward spiral through post breakup numbness. Its house-inspired and dance-centric energy is the heartbeat of the EP channeling what Bentley does best. An overflow of feelings drenched in sharp confident delivery. With a video scheduled to drop in June, DFLT is the start of a new era for Bentley Robles.

«Agony» is the latest addition to his catalogue that explores the duality of the highs of love vs the dark realities of heartbreak. Never one to shy away from the absurd, Dean intentionally designed all imagery around the single to draw attention to the colourful and «picturesque» moments captured but with hints of decay and rot seeping in background, such as insects appearing on his face and hands.
