Patrick Lammer

In the past years he made a name for himself working at numerous large (and small) international theatre institutions and festivals (Vienna Festival, Volkstheater Vienna, Salzburg Festival, Bregenz Festival usw.) as a singer, musician and creator of original stage music.

Together with Bernd Satzinger (Kelomat, Die Strottern, Maja Ojsonik Band etc., Co-founder of the renowned Jazzwerkstatt Vienna) we now recorded a series of compositions, located somewhere
inbetween 90s Indie Pop, classical piano and experimental electronic soundscapes.

The first release, «Thank You», deals with the difficulties of trying to truly understand what
someone else is going through; about well-meaning friends who come up with quick solutions to
complex issues without even knowing (or trying to get to know) the entire story. It’s an intense Piano Ballad with layers of haunting electronics.

Lyrics are essential to him, his songs revolve around queer experiences, body issues, mental health, friendship, sex, identity, and even the state of our planet, the wish and need for connection, healing, and solidarity. Nothing is of limits, everything comes from a place of genuine soul searching, striving toward a strong connection with listeners that will leave a long lasting impression. Music and the artists creating it have always been like friends and family to him, and he want to provide just that experience to people listening to his music.

The artworks and videos accompanying the music have also been carefully selected and developed with specifically chosen (queer) artists to deepen the musical experience and to further open it up into other artistic dimensions.
