Speaking about the EP, frontwoman, Maisie Johnson explains,
«This EP is the heart of all the obstacles faced, and all the self love found throughout the last couple of years. You could say this pandemic has forced us to see our reality from all aspects within the confined walls of our flat. The government, self reflection and to trust our own opinions and views of the world. Transformative. We feel this was a rebirth of Queen Cult.».
Queen Cult are a femme-queer fronted four-piece rock band based in Macclesfield, Cheshire formed by lead vocalist and guitarist Maisie Johnson and bassist Leila Jacklin, with Brodie Carson on drums and Piers Jarvis playing rhythm guitar.
