Måns Zelmerlöw and Carola Häggkvist

Måns Zelmerlöw and Carola Häggkvist invites you to Christmas with the newly written «Let's Sing (It's Christmas Time)».

Yesterday, Friday 11 November, it was finally time to open the first door to this year’s countdown to Christmas with Måns Zelmerlöw (Winner of Eurovision 2015 with «Heroes») and Carola Häggkvist (Winner of Eurovision 1991 – «Fångad av en stormvind». There we find the completely newly written song «Let’s Sing (It’s Christmas Time)».

The song is written by some of our most meritorious songwriters Peter Kvint, David Lindgren Zacharias and Sharon Vaughn all behind great songs with some of Sweden’s biggest artists such as Darin, A-ha, The Ark, Björn Skifs, Eagle Eye Cherry, Albin Lee Meldau, Smith & Thell.

The song is released just in time for Christmas to come, which for Måns and Carola means that they are barely two weeks before the grand premiere of their glittering Christmas concert «A Grand X-mas», which for a few weeks until Christmas will visit some of Sweden’s biggest arenas.

«’Lets sing’ is like oxygen to my soul and a vitamin injection to my body! ‘Lets sing’ feels so natural as a duet between Måns & me and I get so happy every time we sing it!»

«FFor me, ‘Let sing’ is more than a Christmas carol which right now feels so right in time when we can’t let the song be silent in dark times but let it give us joy and hope back!..»

Carola

« … Carola has always been a great role model for me on stage and I’m so happy that we get to do both a tour and a song together now. Finally!”

Måns

When we can finally get together again around Christmas, Måns and Carola invite us to a Christmas concert with extra everything. «A Grand X-mas» premieres on November 24 in Jönköping and will then travel around Sweden before the grand finale in Gävle on December 17. Then we visited, among other things, both Avicii Arena in Stockholm, Scandinavium in Gothenburg and Malmö Arena. On stage, the two stars are backed by a thirteen-piece band and take the audience on a musical journey in the spirit of Christmas. Carola and Måns promise a unique experience with warmth and a Christmas feeling ahead of this year’s big holiday, and both artists will of course offer both one or two of their own songs from their solid song treasures.

Carola is Swedish Christmas personified and in recent years has had success with her own Christmas concerts in Steninge Slottslada. As you know, she has also published a Christmas book and several albums with her own Christmas music. Christmas music is also close to Mån’s heart and was last seen in this context with his own Christmas show at the Grand Hôtel in Stockholm in front of a sold-out crowd with standing ovations.

Carola uploads before Christmas but to plan for her upcoming big anniversary in 2023, Måns who is always relevant uploads before Christmas with the participation of this year’s edition of Swedish TV 4’s «Så Mycket Bättre» where he interprets some of our great Swedish artists and has just released the songs «Faller» which is an interpretation of Molly Hamma’s «Tell Her» and «Sober» which is an interpretation of Norlie KKV’s «Mer för Varandra».
