Hometime Dec 2022

Hometime's new single «What You Wanted (For Christmas)» has just dropped and are added to LGBTQ Music Chart - Christmas playlist.

The joyous, feel good bop tells a tale as old as time: you go to a Christmas party only to run into that one ex, who still has the power to melt your resolve/your heart/your knicker elastic (delete as appropriate) at 50 paces.

Proceeds of the single go to The Stephen Moylan Foundation, providing guidance, support and counselling to children and young people navigating the grief of losing a parent.

New York dance maestro/producer/label executive, Vinny Vero, declared himself so obsessed with the single that he has remixed it! A zesty new 7” mix and a classic extended version will drop soon. Vero has a classy pedigree, with official remixes for, among others, Blondie, Pet Shop Boys, Frida (exABBA), Bright Light Bright Light, and a bunch of current scandipop acts under his belt. This is a nice coup.

Hometime is the name under which Tony Kavanagh (Dublin, Ireland) releases music. He has written and co-written a diverse back catalogue of songs. Some of these songs form the basis of Hometime’s forthcoming debut album, others have been released by other artists. Proudly LGBTQ+ (no letters to be removed from this community). Hometime’s three other singles have all been hits on The LGBTQ Music Chart and it was revealed today that he is nominated to LGBTQ Music Awards 2021 with his «Gratitude».

Hometime’s début album «Syllables» is expected in the new year.
