Xana’s captivating vibrancy distinguishes her, as she weaves themes of LGBTQ romance, female empowerment, sex positivity, self-reflection, and discovery throughout her thriving repertoire.

Xana is back with her new single «Bad Bandit», after the success of her debut album. Her musical endeavours have taken off since she met producers Liam Moes and Shane Stephenson in early 2020. Xana’s experimentalism thrives as she dips her toes into whatever she’s connecting with at the time, finding inspiration in numerous forms of music. «Bad Bandit» highlights Xana’s enthusiasm for all things western, as she conjured up a number of intriguing characters and stories alike, as she found familial comfort in her love for country music.

«Bad Bandit» embodies Xana’s passion of all things western, as she conjured up a slew of intriguing characters and stories. «Like Clyde and Bonnie, I want you on my body, bandits who aren’t sorry, a money hungry party», she says, explaining how the opening stanza «Like Clyde and Bonnie, I want you on my body, bandits who aren’t sorry, a money hungry party» was one of the first things she composed, and it was what led us down this classic western character pop-rock rabbit hole. It was a tune that we had a lot of fun writing.

Xana transforms cinematics into soundscapes in a very unique way, paying great attention to the captivating soundscapes and ambiance of classic western films. «Bad Bandit» rises with roaring rhythms, a pounding bassline, and Xana’s genuinely echoic vocal energy, enveloping into a rebel song with just the right mix of sass and success.

Xana encourages her fans to accept their true honest selves in the hopes of making them feel more connected to their emotions. «It’s so beautiful to see them fiercely be themselves and form friendships and relationships with each other», she says. The most successful music is one which brings people together, and I’m very pleased to share this place with them.

Her music video for «Kitchen Light» has received overwhelming support from various Spotify editorial playlists, including New Music Friday Canada, The Locker, Fresh Finds Pop, Ready to Rock, and Limelight, to mention a few. With over 20 million streams on Spotify alone, Xana remains a modern-day trendsetter.
