In production and engineering positions in the music industry, a major lack of women and non-binary people has been discovered, according to a recent report.

Many artists, like as Brandi Carlile and Maggie Rogers, have spoken out in favour of greater diversity in technical jobs.

We Are Moving the Needle, Jaxsta, Middle Tennessee State University, and Howard University all contributed papers to the Fix The Mix study, reports.
