«I think we are a lot of ‘lonely hearts’ out there who have built up a small inner fear of daring to open the heart again after it has been hit, but the fear must not take over. Think how much we will miss!? Although ‘Lonely Heart’ is written as if I am singing to someone else, it is indirectly an inner conversation with myself. I wanted to create something uplifting and personal in a nice chewy production, a perfect song to add to my summer tour simply haha». – Melanie Wehbe

This year, Melanie, who was raised in Västerås, Sweden, marks ten years working in the music business. In these years, she has produced two Idol-winning songs, a Swedish top-1, two Spotify hits, three radio singles, and victories at both the Swedish (2020) Melodifestivalen and Danish (2019) Melodi Grand Prix. She has supported numerous performers in both the Melodifestivalen and the Eurovision Song Contest while on tour as a musician.
