Our talented singer and guitarist Tommy Keeling had a unique adventure where he spent months camping in a tent. And guess what? During this incredible journey, he started crafting the most amazing album using bits and pieces from old recordings. Isn’t that just incredible?
This album «Content» is absolutely fantastic! The sound is huge and energetic, and you’d never guess it’s just two people making all that noise. Morgan Pettigrew‘s drumming is incredibly intricate and adds so much to the music, while Keeling’s guitar riffs are just plain awesome. The album has a really cool flow to it, like you’re listening to an old vinyl record. It’s so refreshing to hear something that’s not just another cookie-cutter modern release. These guys have really captured the essence of classic 90s bands like Nirvana and Alice in Chains, but they’ve also brought their own unique spin to the grunge and Brit pop genres. I can’t wait to see what they come up with next!
Minatore has been on an incredible journey, rocking the vibrant UK DIY rock and punk scenes. They have become a beloved live band, winning the hearts of every band they meet along the way. Their music has even taken them across Europe, where they have shared the stage with amazing acts like Mothers Cake and Girls Against Boys. And let’s not forget, they recently had the honour of performing at the legendary punk festival Rebellion. The band is already hard at work, creating their next masterpiece set to be released in 2024.
Tommy Keeling – Vocals / guitar
Trans man, neurodivergent, previously played in the all girl band The Tommys touring with (+44) and Motorhead, crews for other bands and enjoys cooking and long walks. Influences are early Sleater Kinney, Sonic Youth, David Lee Roth.
Morgan Pettigrew – Drums
Two times cancer survivor, professional drum teacher, all round delightful guy, he’s very tall, he enjoys everything with a beat, his cat Miko and formula 1. Influences are Chic, Led Zeppelin, Tom Jones.
